Union workers at the Hunts Point Market have struck a tentative deal to avoid a possible strike.
Members of the Teamsters Local 202 reached a three-year agreement with the Hunts Point Produce Trade Association that would increase wages and make no cuts in pension. However, the cost of health care benefits would go up.
Union officials say they'll review the deal and hope to vote on it as early as Friday.
