The husband of a Brownsville woman whose body parts were found scattered on Long Island says he's relying on his faith to stay strong.

Dale Browne sat down with News 12, one month after the disappearance of his wife Chinelle Browne. He says she had moved to Brooklyn from Guyana less than a year ago, and was working to save money so that he and their four children could join her. 

Police say Browne was stabbed multiple times and beheaded. Her accused killer, Leah Cuevas, was arrested soon after her body was identified, but she has pleaded not guilty to murder. 

According to prosecutors, the two women argued over $400 that Cuevas apparently collected in their apartment building each month. Neighbors say she was claiming to be the landlord. 

Browne says his main focus now is his kids, which is exactly what his wife would want. He says he's learned to never take life for granted because it's so precious and so unpredictable.
