A Scarsdale man has been arrested after his wife was found dead in their multimillion-dollar home.
Court officials say Jules Reich, 61, has been arraigned on second-degree murder charges in the death of Dr. Robin Goldman, 58, a pediatrician at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
Cops got a 911 call Wednesday morning that a female had been hurt seriously at 50 Lincoln Road and found Goldman's body upon arrival.
Reich is a CPA who works at a financial corporate consulting firm in Manhattan. He is being held in Westchster County Jail and expected back in court on Jan. 26.
According to police, there hasn't been a murder in Scarsdale since 1977, and they say residents are not at any increased risk. "We are confident that this is an isolated incident and that there are no other threats posed to the community," says Scarsdale Police Chief Thomas Altizio.
