Gabby Petito's parents addressed their daughter's disappearance and murder in a chat on Twitter Spaces.
The Blue Point native mother's says things could have gone differently if police in Utah had done more.
"I don't know what could've transpired differently if...diligence had been done in the first place..." she said.
Some have questioned whether police in Utah should have done more when they responded to a domestic disturbance call between Petito and her fiancé Brian Laundrie, who is believed to have committed suicide.
Laundrie was the only person of interest in Petito's disappearance and death.
