The family of Edwin Acevedo, who was fatally stabbed on March 7, says they aren’t happy with the current state of the investigation to find his killer.
Acevedo was stabbed and killed in his home just off the Grand Concourse.
“I don't know what hurts more - the way that they took him, losing him or seeing my kids, especially my son who's the oldest, break down the way he breaks down,” Acevedo’s wife tells News 12.
The family says the pain from the loss was made worse because the investigation into finding the killer is still at large.
The family is calling on the public for help in getting justice.
