Some Bronx residents say they are concerned about water leaks throughout their apartment building.
People living at 1555 Grand Concourse reached out to News 12 about ongoing issues they said have been going on in their apartments for months.
According to Dee Bradley, every time it rains outside, she prepares for water to seep into her apartment.
"I'm freaking out every time it rains. I'm nervous when it rains. I can't sleep. I have to get buckets and everything," said Bradley.
Bradley and some of her neighbors showed News 12 the water damage inside of their homes.
Bradley also said that aside from the water leaks, other parts of the building need repair, such as the front entrance doors that do not have locks.
She said despite her multiple 311 complaints and messages to Phoenix Management 23 LLC-- a Pistilli Reality Company, the solution they've provided only serves as a “band-aid” to slow down the leaks.
"They're putting like patches on the roof like glue to stop the leaks instead of replacing the roof like they should. I feel that with the light fixtures on the top, it can cause electrical fires, because the water is running through the ceiling," Bradley exclaimed.
News 12 called and emailed Phoenix Management about the situation.
A spokesperson for Phoenix Management wrote in part, "We contacted the tenant you spoke to. We will be working in her unit tomorrow and also work on the roof affecting her unit."
