Immigrant workers in Brooklyn say it?s not easy finding enough work to make a living. The Latin Workers Project at the Bay Parkway Community Job Center has been created to help day workers find the work and fair wages needed for them to support themselves and their families. The creator of the program guarantees fair wages for the workers and encourages them to find contracted jobs.
The job center hopes to expand its services and accommodate more workers by moving into its own building.
