Impeachment articles against Gov. Andrew Cuomo could come as early as next week.
The state Assembly Judiciary Committee says its impeachment investigation of Gov. Cuomo "is nearing completion."
A letter sent to Cuomo's legal team is requesting they send over any materials the committee should consider by next Friday.

This is the most dramatic step the committee has taken since launching its investigation in March.
This after the governor refused to step down this week following an independent state attorney general report he sexually harassed at least 11 women, including employees, assistants and a state trooper assigned to protect him at him former home in Mount Kisco.
Assemblyman Thomas Abinanti is on the Judiciary Committee and explains why this process is lingering into next week.
"Before we draft articles of impeachment and before we present them to the assembly and before the assembly votes on them -- we've got to make sure that we are prepared to make a presentation before a court," he says.
Cuomo's communications director responded to the subpoena saying, "the governor appreciates the opportunity. We will be cooperating."
The first woman to accuse Gov. Cuomo of sexual harassment - former aide Lindsay Boylan - now plans to sue him for allegedly leaking her personal files in retaliation for her claiming the governor kissed her without her consent.
Cuomo denies the allegations.
News 12 has also learned that a fifth DA's Office, Oswego is requesting documents from the AG's report to possibly launch a criminal probe, joining prosecutors in Westchester, Nassau, Albany and Manhattan.
