? Industrial businesses in Greenpoint and Williamsburg are suing the city to change zoning laws to allow them to expand.
Rick Pinquist owns a metal parts factory that he says is literally bursting at the seams. Pinquist says his employees often don?t have enough room to walk around the facility. He is one of several business owners suing the city over a rezoning plan the City Council passed last year. The new zoning makes more room for residential buildings, instead of industrial operations.
Owners argue they?ll be forced to relocate if they can?t expand.
