A man and a woman were shot overnight in East New York, investigators say.

The incident happened at the corner of Hegeman Avenue and Milford Street around 3:30 a.m.

Police say a man and women were standing when they heard shots and then felt pain.

A 21-year-old man was shot twice in the leg and a 20-year-old woman was shot three times in the right leg.

Both victims were treated by Emergency Medical Services at the scene. They were taken to Brookdale Hospital.

No arrests have been made.
