Israel's Record Shop, which has been a Bedford-Stuyvesant mainstay for two decades, will be closing in a few weeks.
Owner Israel Ben Yahuda says he decided to close because he believes his rent will rise too high and construction will impede his business because the building is being sold.
He says that he would eventually like to open up somewhere else.
The record shop is open every day except Saturday.
