A 52-year-old Bronx man has become an Ivy League graduate, proving that with hard work and dedication, it's never too late to reach your goals.
After nearly 12 years as a janitor by night and student by day at Columbia University, Gac Filipaj earned his bachelor's degree with honors in classics. The Yugoslavian immigrant was accepted into the school after first learning English.
Filipaj says he hopes to earn his master's degree and become a college professor.
