Jamal Funes faces attempted murder charges after shootout with 2 NYPD cops

The Kings County District Attorney says the man who started a shootout which injured two NYPD officers will be charged. Police say Jamal Funes pointed a gun at two housing officers after a brief chase.

The Kings County District Attorney says the man who started a shootout which injured two NYPD officers will be charged.
Police say Jamal Funes pointed a gun at two housing officers after a brief chase. 
One of the officers who was shot is out of the hospital. 
The other officer is still being treated 
Funes is facing first-degree attempted murder charges.
