Jersey Proud: NJ law enforcement represented in Police Unity Tour

Hundreds of police officers riding bicycles are expected to arrive in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday afternoon as part of the Police Unity Tour.

Dozens of police departments from around New Jersey are represented. They include riders from South Toms River, Somerset and Gloucester counties.

They've been cycling from all over the Northeast heading to the nation's capital for the last few days.

The Police Unity Tour is an annual event to honor officers who have died in the line of duty.

The tour raised over $2 million last year for the National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum.

They're expecting to do the same this year.

The participating officers will arrive on the National Mall.
