(AP) - An ultra-orthodox Jewish group based in Brooklynidentified four of the five hostages killed in a terrorist attackon their headquarters in Mumbai, India. At least three areAmericans.
Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg and his wife, Rivkah, who ran theChabad-Lubavitch center, were among those killed during a hostagestandoff, said Rabbi Zalman Shmotkin, a spokesman for the group.The center was one of 10 sites attacked beginning Wednesday.
Shmotkin identified two other victims as Bentzion Chroman, anIsraeli with dual U.S. citizenship, and Leibish Teitlebaum, anAmerican from Brooklyn. He said a fifth victim was an Israeli womanbut didn't have her name.
Authorities said two gunmen also were killed.
Holtzberg, 29, was born in Israel and moved to the Crown Heightssection of Brooklyn with his parents when he was nine. He had dualU.S.-Israeli citizenship. Rivkah Holtzberg, 28, was a native ofAfula, Israel. The couple lived in New York before going to India.
The couple's toddler son, Moshe Holtzberg, was rescued Thursdayby an employee and is now with his grandparents. A second son, whowas ailing, was with relatives in Israel when the attack occurred.A third child died earlier this year of a degenerative geneticdisease.
