As people prepare to see Pope Francis over the next few days, others are preparing to make him laugh.
Joke with the Pope is using comedy and the pontiff's visit to the U.S. to support a good cause.
The campaign, endorsed by Pope Francis, asks people to submit a pope-appropriate joke until Oct 2. The winner, to be chosen on Oct. 5, gets the title of "honorary comedic adviser to the pope," and the organization will donate $10,000 to a cause of the winner's choice.
So far, the group says it has jokes from 36 countries and submissions include ones from actor Bill Murray and comedian Conan O'Brien.
