The Board of Elections says a trial date has been set to discuss fraud allegations surrounding the special election for Brooklyn's 27th District state Senate seat.
Republican David Storobin and Democrat Lew Fidler were virtually tied after borough residents took to the polls last month to choose a replacement for former Sen. Carl Kruger. Court referees were called in after the election and it was called into question whether all ballots were filled out properly.
A judge will now have the final say on April 19.
