Jury selection continued Friday in the trial of Cesar Rodriguez, who is accused of murdering 7-year-old Nixzmary Brown two years ago.
So far, lawyers have agreed on 11 jurors ? one man in his 20s and 10 women ranging in age from 40 to 65 years old. The search for the final juror and six alternates will continue Monday at Brooklyn Supreme Court.
Opening arguments could take place as early as Tuesday and the trial is expected to last about five weeks.
Rodriguez was Nixzmary?s stepfather. If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison.
