The John F. Kennedy High School boys volleyball team is tuning up for a long playoff run after achieving a 10-0 record during the regular season.
The defending PSAL champs hosted an annual pre-playoffs tournament over the weekend. Ten of the city's top teams, including the top two teams in each of the Bronx divisions, competed. Walton was victorious in two games over Lehman. Ezekiel Shin was the driving force for the Bronx High School of Science, but the Wolverines lost in the quarterfinals. Kennedy was the star of its own tournament. The Knights beat Aviation in the semifinals and swept Brooklyn Tech.
The PSAL boys volleyball playoffs begin Saturday, May 12.
