Kids help kick off Brooklyn Fashion Week
Brooklyn Fashion Week is underway, and a stylish group of children helped kick it off.
Around 250 kids went to two days of auditions for the opportunity to take part in Fashion Week at the Brooklyn Public Library. A total of 60 kids were selected, and are now dressing the part by stepping on the runway in front of designers and VIPs.
Glitter, feathers and sparkles were part of their looks.
The designer Jojo and Brooklyn-based designer Young Gods showed off some of their new pieces for the first time.
All of the clothing from Sunday's event is available for purchase.
Brooklyn Fashion Week continues until Saturday.
