Ice skaters are lacing up at a new arena at Floyd Bennett Field where kids can get lessons from the pros.
The eight-week program at the NHL-size Aviator Ice Center rink pairs professionals with beginners for one-hour sessions. Parents say the indoor activity is a great way to keep their children safe from the streets. The program costs $175.
