The late "King of Pop" Michael Jackson made his mark on Brooklyn in the late 1980s by using the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street subway station as a backdrop for one of his famed music videos.
Jackson's hit single "Bad" was filmed right in the borough, and Brooklyn residents still remember when Jackson visited to make the video.
"One of the girls who lived nearby told us they were shooting Michael Jackson here, so we did try to come down and see him," says resident Adriane Esquilin. "But they filmed in the evening, so we missed him."
Jackson died Thursday at the age of 50.
