Firefighters at Ladder 118 in Brooklyn Heights held a memorial Friday to honor their comrades who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Although many of the firefighters working at Ladder 118 today weren't there eight years ago, they say it is important for them to honor the heroes who lost their lives while trying to save others.
"Nine-eleven lives with me every day," says firefighter John Sorrentino. "It's just a part of my life."
The firefighters built a memorial at the firehouse of Ladder 118 so they could always remember their eight fallen comrades.
