A number of laptops have gone missing at a school in Crown Heights.
The incident happened at Achievement First and New Heights Middle School on East New York Avenue.
Police say someone called them on Wednesday to report one stolen laptop from back in July when school was out.
A spokesperson for the Department of Education confirmed the incident, saying that 30 laptops actually went missing from the charter school in July.
Parents say they are upset to hear that someone would steal these laptops from their kids.
The Department of Education says the theft is under investigation.
Police are trying to figure out who could have stolen the laptops and when. No arrests have been made.
