In honor of fallen officers Jason Rivera and Wilburt Mora, hundreds gathered outside the 32nd Precinct Wednesday.
A local restaurant also showed support for the NYPD as the city mourns the two officers killed in the line of duty.
Latino Bites parked outside of the 32nd Precinct, offering food.
Many have left a candle, a flower, and even said a prayer outside the precinct.
“It’s very important to us because at the end of the day they're the ones that try to keep us safe. They are the ones that are doing their job putting their lives at risk to make sure that we as fellow owners of businesses are OK. It’s support, support, support,” said Latino Bites owner John Bedoya.
