Multiple organizations throughout New York City demonstrated their outrage at the potential appointment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Legal Services Staff Association, the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys and 1199 SEIU banded together against the appointment of Kavanaugh. The organizations say they fight every day for low-income workers.

The groups say they believe Kavanaugh would take away rights for women, people of color and other oppressed groups.

The organizations marched to U.S. District Court on Cadman Plaza from housing court on Livingston Street.

The march comes a week after Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified in front of the U.S. Senate that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her three decades ago.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says there is nothing in the the FBI's supplemental background investigation.

A procedural vote in the Senate is expected Friday.
