A white headmaster who was accused of making a Black student kneel as part of an apology has resigned in Uniondale, New York.

A white headmaster who was accused of making a Black student kneel as part of an apology has resigned in Uniondale, New York.
On its website, the St. Martin de Porres Marianist school says it has accepted John Holian's resignation.
Holian was originally on leave after last month's incident.
The school says it is continuing to review the situation.
