Long Island's Pat Benatar is taking a stand against gun violence by crossing one of her most well-known songs off her setlist.

The musician says she is pulling "Hit Me with your Best Shot" from her live concert tour.

The song was the Benatar's first Top 10 hit, but she says she sees it differently now with the climate of gun violence and mass shootings across the country.

Benatar is from Lindenhurst and will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November.
