The forecast this week will feature colder temperatures compared to last week, and there may be some rain showers Wednesday that could changing to some wet snow early Thursday.

The forecast is now trending toward weaker systems and not a big storm for our area. This means there will be rain showers developing Wednesday as temperatures rise, and then ending as some wet snow early Thursday as temperatures drop.
Much colder air will arrive for the end of next weekend and early next week. There is the potential for another storm to develop, so stay with News 12 Connecticut for further developments throughout this week.
In the meantime it will be seasonable and dry for Tuesday.
