A local priest has a lot to be thankful for this Easter holiday.
Father Aloysius Thumma says he's not only celebrating the miracle of Easter this Sunday, but the miracle of his own life.
Less than two months ago, Father Thumma was on life support awaiting a heart transplant.
Recently, the 60-year-old priest was told he'd receive the heart of a 25-year-old man from Cincinnati.
Now, Father Thumma's back at work leading Mass at a chapel in the Sisters Servants of Mary Convent, or at the nearby Lady of Assumption.
He says when he can, he is also preaching the message of organ donation.
