A Long Island woman is searching for her dog that has been missing in Brooklyn for nearly a month.
Owner Joseliana Villaman says she was visiting family on East 16th Street between avenues Y and Z in Sheepshead Bay Aug. 22 when the dog, named "Sebastian," went missing. She says a family member left a door open without realizing and the dog walked out and disappeared.
Sebastian is a 2-year-old brown Chihuahua. Villaman says he helped her overcome issues with anxiety and depression.
Villaman put up fliers around the neighborhood and is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Sebastian.
