Long Islanders line up for cookies 'as big as your head' in Sea Cliff

Every Sunday, Bill Kosis transforms the end of his driveway into a one-man cookie stand called Sugar Daddy Baker, serving up massive, $5 cookies that have been drawing customers from across Long Island.
The cookies are hard to miss; some are literally as big as your head.
Kosis works in the city Tuesday through Saturday, then spends his Saturday nights baking batch after batch for Sunday morning. By 8 a.m., he’s ready to serve flavors including chocolate walnut chunk, Rocky Road and rotating specials.
Thanks to social media, word is spreading fast.
"We stopped here on the way early because we heard they get sold out really quickly," said Grace, of Glen Head.
Customers say they’re not only showing up for the oversized treats, but also because they love Kosis’ personality and the positive energy behind the small business.
One customer from Glen Head said she saw Kosis on social media and immediately knew she had to make the trip to Sea Cliff.
"Every journey begins with a single step," Kosis said. "And that's what happens to me every day. I just wake up, try to take that first step, and then sometimes this happens."
You can find Sugar Daddy Baker at 63 14th Ave. in Sea Cliff. The stand is open Sundays starting at 8 a.m. and stays open until sold out.
