A Luna Park ride caused a scare and an evacuation Monday night when it stalled 8 feet above the ground.
No one was hurt, but it marked the second time in three days that a ride at the park got jammed with people aboard.
On Saturday, the Cyclone temporarily lost power. Workers had to guide guests down to the ground. No one was hurt then either.
Monday's incident involved the Steeplechase roller coaster, and workers similarly guided riders down a catwalk to safety.
The city Department of Buildings says it issued violations for both incidents and ordered both rides halted until they are fixed and re-inspected.
The DOB says permanent rides like the Cyclone and Steeplechase get inspected twice a year as a precaution. And they're subject to random spot checks.
Luna Park did not immediately respond to a News 12 request for comment.
