Maimondes Health along with vendor Parker and Talia gave away 1,000 sensory-free onesies Thursday to aid new mothers as they welcome their little ones.
"We make it in this super-softbamboo fabric," says Parker and Talia founder Valerie Bernal.
Bernal says her children would often cry because they were uncomfortable in their own clothes - whether it was a tag bothering them, a seam or the elastic.
Newborns at Maimondes Health will now be more comfortable thanks to Bernal's sensory-free onesies and swaddles.
"The onesies will not only provide warmth and comfort for our littlest patients," says Dr. Kavitha Ram. "It gives us a way to gift back our gratitude for the privilege of serving Brooklyn mothers and their families."
