Recipe:
Garlic Knots
20oz pizza dough
Garlic powder
Fresh minced garlic
Grated Romano Cheese
Extra virgin olive oil
Fresh parsley
Oregano
Stretch out dough to an even thickness square by hand or with rolling pin. Sprinkle oregano, granulated garlic and lite evoo evenly on the dough.
Roll dough and apply firmer pressure to the thicker parts creating an even thickness roll. This will ensure even cooking.
Slice or cut the dough into even portioned pieces about an inch and a half thick.
Preheat oven to 400° and bake on a sheet pan until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
While they’re baking in the oven prepare the garlic mixture in a bowl. Combine parmesan cheese, fresh garlic and extra virgin olive oil. Mix throughly. Once the garlic knots are ready toss in the garlic mixture and mix until all are evenly coated. Remove from bowl, plate them and sprinkle some Parmesan and parsley over them once again.
