A 20-year-old man is behind bars accused of stabbing his mother to death.
The incident happened at around 6 p.m. Sunday on East 43rd Street near Avenue J in Flatlands.
Police say 38-year-old Iman Thomas was found with several stab wounds in a backyard.
Her son has not been formally charged yet.
