Man attacked, robbed of prescription medication in Brownsville

A 45-year-old man was attacked and robbed of his prescription medication in Brownsville, police say.

It happened at Junius Street and Sutter Avenue just before 11 a.m. on June 12.

According to the police, the man's attacker punched him in the face repeatedly before he snatched the bottle of medication. He then took off running, traveling southbound on Junius Street.

The NYPD says the victim suffered minor injuries and is expected to be OK.

Police released images of the man they are looking for. He is pictured wearing a black Nets T-Shirt, a black baseball cap, gray shorts and black and white shoes.
