Man attacked with rock in Crown Heights, police probe as bias attack
A man was attacked with a rock in Crown Heights, according to police.
Police say the victim was sitting in traffic outside 170 Brooklyn Ave. Thursday around 5 p.m.
They say that is when a man hit him in the head with a rock. Reports say the man was cut from the incident.
It is believed the suspect was with three or four other people, and they all took off.
Investigators are looking into the incident as a bias attack.
News 12 is told another man was attacked in Lincoln Terrace Park earlier this week, also with a rock.
Rabbi Abraham Gopin says he was exercising on Tuesday when a man started punching him and tried to throw rocks at him.
Gopin says he is missing two teeth, has stitches, a broken nose and several bruises.
Gopin says he was targeted because he is Jewish.
