A man was charged with injuring a Nassau County police officer while resisting arrest during a traffic stop Saturday night in Valley Stream.

A man was charged with injuring a Nassau County police officer while resisting arrest during a traffic stop Saturday night in Valley Stream.
Police say 23-year-old Shane Nicholas was driving a car that was pulled over because it had tinted windows.
A passenger, identified as 24-year-old Kai Williams, was also arrested after police said they found a gun.
Police say as they arrested Nicholas, he swung his arm at officers and knocked one to the pavement before he ran into a stranger's home.
He faces charges that include assault and burglary.
