A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car Sunday morning in Bensonhurst.
Fire officials say the victim was crossing 65th Street by 18th Avenue at around 6:20 a.m. when he was hit by a car.
Authorities say the unconscious victim was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center.
A pickup truck remains on the scene, but there is no word yet on if it is the car involved in the accident.
Police have yet to determine whether speeding or drinking were factors, or if the driver was running a red light.
The identities of those involved have not been released. There is no word yet on any arrests.
