The NYPD says a man was fatally shot in Brooklyn Monday.

Police responded to a shooting around 11 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to the head in front of 568 Empire Blvd.

Police did not identify the victim but said he was in his 30s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the NYPD.
