A man was fatally stabbed Thursday morning in Sunset Park, police say.

The stabbing happened just before 10 a.m. on 59th Street. Police closed off part of the street, focusing their investigation on a minivan that sources say was the livery cab in which the victim and three suspects got into some sort of dispute.

Police say one of the suspects smashed a glass bottle and used its sharp edges to stab the victim.

Video shows the bloodied victim lying motionless under a tree. He has not yet been identified.

Investigators say it appears the victim and three suspects were passengers in the livery cab. Sources say the suspects fled on foot and tossed aside the rest of the beer bottles that investigators spent much of the afternoon examining.

The cab driver has been questioned but is not considered a suspect.

The possible relationship between the victims and suspects was not immediately clear.
