The NYPD is investigating the death of a man who was found with head trauma in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Police sources say a person of interest is in custody.
Officers discovered the 41-year-old man just before 8:15 a.m. Wednesday inside 119 Ocean Ave.
EMS took the man to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police sources tell News 12 that officers responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress.
The New York City Medical Examiner will determine the cause and nature of death.
