Man held at knifepoint, forced to withdraw $2k from Sunset Park bank

Police say the man was approached by two men at the intersection of 4th Avenue and 56th Street at 9:10 a.m.

A 33-year-old man was held at knifepoint while being forced to withdraw money from a Sunset Park bank, according to the NYPD.

The incident happened on Aug. 6. Police say two men approached the victim at the intersection of 4th Avenue and 56th Street just after 9 a.m.

The two men then held the victim at knifepoint and led him to a bank, forcing him to withdraw $2,000.

The two men ran off eastbound on 54th Street.

The victim was not hurt.
