Man indicted after over $100k of cocaine, fentanyl seized during raid of Gravesend drug trafficking site

A man was indicted after over $100,000 worth of cocaine and fentanyl were seized during the raid of a Gravesend drug trafficking site, New York Attorney General Letitia James says.
Azer Arslanouk, 36, of New Jersey, was charged with 31 crimes for trafficking narcotics following a 2-and-a-half-year investigation into the 9 Lake St. storefront where Arslanouk was allegedly storing and selling the drugs.
The AG’s Organized Crime Task Force seized more than 8,887 fentanyl laced pills and over 891 grams of cocaine, the indictment says.
Arslanouk allegedly used encrypted messaging apps to communicate with buyers and carried out four separate sales between December 2024 and January 2025.
"Drug traffickers who hide fentanyl in counterfeit prescription drugs are putting New Yorkers suffering from opioid addiction in grave danger," said James. "This investigation took thousands of deadly pills off the street, and my office will continue fighting to stop the opioid crisis in our communities. I thank our law enforcement partners for their collaboration as we work to keep New Yorkers safe from dangerous narcotics."
Arslanouk faces up to 20 years behind bars if convicted.
