A volunteer for the needy was fatally shot in the chest Monday morning while finishing his Meals on Wheels deliveries for the day.

Imonil Aminov, 54, was a Russian immigrant who worked on behalf of the Jewish Association for Services for the Aged. Investigators say Aminov was shot in the chest around 10 a.m. Police are still searching for a motive.
