A man was robbed and slashed inside an N train in Gravesend.

Police say the incident happened on Feb. 7 as the train approached the 86th Street subway station. The robber approached a 25-year-old man and demanded his wallet and money. When the victim refused, the robber slashed the victim on the head, face, back and knee with a knife. He took the victim’s wallet and ran away from the station.

The victim was taken by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and is expected to recover.
