Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Bed-Stuy.
It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday on Madison Street.
Police say three officers were patrolling in the area when they heard gunshots. The officers found a man lying on the ground face up and unconscious with several gunshot wounds, police say.
The man was rushed to Woodhall Hospital, and pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say they are working to locate the man's family before they release his identity.
