A man was slashed inside a subway station in f early Monday morning.
Police say that just before 6:45 a.m., a 911 call came in for a person stabbed inside the mezzanine level of the W 170th Street subway station. Officers discovered a 37-year-old man with multiple slash wounds to the body.
They say the incident happened after an argument with another person who ran away from the scene.
The man was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Lincoln and is expected to recover.
