There was bloodshed in Times Square on Thursday afternoon. Police say a man was stabbed with a machete and that three people are in custody.
Police say it happened around 1 p.m. on the corner of West 45th Street and Broadway, right in the heart of Times Square. They say he was stabbed in both legs.
Police sources tell News 12 that the victim was not a tourist and was a regular in the area. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive.
